Job Description
The University of Missouri School of Medicine, Department of Molecular Microbiology and Immunology is seeking a non-tenure track Assistant Research Professor with expertise in cloning of Immunoglobulin (Ig) genes, grafting of self-peptides into the genes and expression the Ig-peptide chimeras in transfectoma cells for the purpose of investigating therapies for autoimmunity. Also, expertise in the immunology of experimental allergic encephalomyelitis (EAE) and Type I Diabetes is required. Good communication skills as well as familiarity with training graduate students are necessary. Candidates should be familiar with grant writing. The position is renewable annually. It offers the opportunity to develop independent research programs competitive for securing external funding.

Job Requirements
Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent in Microbiology & Immunology, and have at least 5 years of relevant postdoctoral experience.
