The National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases (NIAMS) Intramural Program (IRP) is actively recruiting a candidate for the position, Policy and Communications Liaison. This position will operate within the Office of Technology Development and Training to support the IRP research mission. The responsibilities of this position will consist of, but are not limited to managing the daily operations of various applications for internal and external websites, serve as the point of contact for the SharePoint team sites, and social media tools used within the IRP. Duties will include data entry, application administration, user management, SharePoint team site administration, creating, editing and posting web content. The incumbent should have Ph.D. (or terminal degree) in basic science and preferably postdoctoral experience. Additionally, the incumbent should have experience in developing scientific and research based content for a public (broad audience) website, familiarity with Section 508 compliance, and knowledge of Web Content Management Systems (WCMS).
